Irving B. Harris Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Chicago

His work and teaching focus on social cognition, particularly morality, empathy, social influence, and prosocial decision-making.

Ariel Knafo-Noam

Development of empathy from childhood to adolescence

Professor of Developmental Psychology (and Psychology Department Chair) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Much of his work has focused on the genetic, environmental and combined contributions to empathy and prosocial behavior.

Eran Halperin

Emotional processes in violent conflicts: How emotions shape our attitudes and policies?

Professor in the Psychology Department at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem

His research uses psychological and political theories to investigate causal factors driving intergroup conflicts.

Amanda Clinton, MEd, PhD | Senior director of APA’s Office of International Affairs

Prior to joining the APA, she served as professor of psychology at the University of Puerto Rico, where she specialized in culturally relevant prevention program adaptation, social emotional learning and neuropsychology of bilingualism.
